Where to Ski and Snowboard price survey 2009/10

Before you start entering prices, we want some information about yourself and the resort you are reporting on. (The form handles only one resort at at time; to enter prices for a second resort, you'll have to start again after submitting the first resort's prices.)

About you and your trip

We will add you to our email newsletter list so that you will get the results of this survey. You will be able to unsubscribe from this list simply by clicking on a link given at the end of every email. We will not share your email address with anyone else.

If you have general observations on prices in this resort, feel free to record them below. You can come back to this page later if you want to. But please, please don't put actual prices in this field - record them in a structured way on the next page, so that we can analyse them easily.

Entering your prices

On the next page you will be able to enter your prices, along with supporting details. The system is a bit complex; please do read this page carefully to make sure you know what you are doing.

Prices are entered in sets. Each set should contain actual prices from a single establishment (which you'll be asked to name) or prices that you reckon are typical of the resort as a whole.

If you are giving typical prices and want to give a range of prices for one item, please make two separate entries – a high one and a low one.

Depending on your answers to the initial questions, some further questions will appear - about the size of drinks, for example, or the name of the restaurant.

Prices must be in local currency. Enter a simple decimal number (eg 3 or 3.5) with no letters, dashes or other symbols that will wreck our calculations.

Multiple prices

Below the fields in which you record your first price you will find an "Add another response" link. Clicking this will create a new row of empty fields at the bottom of the page, where you can enter your next price. You can repeat this process indefinitely, but the vital link appears in only one place, below your first row of price data. So if you are entering lots of prices, you may need to scroll up the page to find the link and back down to find the new empty fields.

Multiple sets

Similarly, you will find a link below your last row of price data that allows you to "Add another set of prices, eg for another restaurant". Clicking here will create an additional blank field set at the bottom of the page. Again, this link can be used repeatedly to enter multiple sets of data, but it appears in only one place so some scrolling up and down may be needed.
